Hello everyone I'm so back after not that long of inactivity I guess. While I was away from what you can see I made huge progress on the site. I refactored the whole routing system cause the original code was genuinely atrocious. Anyway! I made minor changes to the UI and switched up the layout switching the sidebar navigation to a "MacOS dock" type of navigation (that's how I like to call it — I don't know what's its actual name so if you know please let me know I'd appreciate that fr)
In addition to the UI and layout change I also created the music page which is still incomplete but I am really satisfied with the way it's turning out and I'm also thinking of implementing in a music player so you could listen do that music or at least snippets of that music if full songs are not possible.
Now the blogging system is far from complete, matter of fact, I haven't made any progress on it at all. However, before recoding the whole system I did start working on it but eventually I got stuck then gave up. On my 4 years of blogging, the issue that's been constantly throwing me off is managing the posts & the site in general since it quickly gets filled with files and making big changes e.g layout changes becomes a pain in the ass. So with my revised system I'm aiming to simplify the whole process, speeding up the workflow for me and others.
