using ai.

AI came into our lives and is here to stay it has lots of people worrying about many things such as their jobs, the environment and the morality of using it. I used to hate it and be against it completely but I have now changed my mind after reconsidering its values & more.

Before I start I'd like to clarify that I do NOT condone nor support the usage of AI in every possible case scenario I just think it's a useful tool if used properly.

To start off AI has caused a lot of people to fear for what has to come in the future as many companies & big corporations etc. have started utilizing it for creating their assets (graphics, music, scripts and more). Although that is the sad truth, it's not the end as there are still many people waiting for you to get fired so you can get hired, as they're seeking your skills and creativity.

The problem with AI is that even though it's cheaper and more convenient for some it will never resemble human work as that's something that cannot be replicated seamlessly by an algorithm. The human mind and the human thought process needed to come up with things is unreplicable.

That's why when you ask ChatGPT to come up with names for i.e a project the algorithm can only generate generic names which have been heard before.

After what I've said so far I might've made you wonder when is it okay to use AI? In my opinion using AI is okay only if it's used efficiently and not excessively. For instance, it should be used for supporting your studies not for doing your homework entirely. Someone should be able to use AI for help to understand how some code works or to debug a block of code and not for creating entire applications.

And I believe that AI shouldn't be able to interfere with arts at all. To be more specific, it should be forbidden from generating art e.g sketches, drawings, music, poetry, literature and all forms of art in general.

That's not all though, as with AI a new problem has arose and that is the creation of explicit adult images.People's first instict is to blame the AI and to be fair I used to be like that too. But the truth is that it's not its fault, the AI does only what it's been programmed to do and that includes the creation of that content.

The sickening people that own these AIs are the ones who should be put to blame as if they really wanted to prevent that sort of misuse they could've very well prevented it but they explicitly chose not to.

Anyway, that's all I got to say today. Sorry if I was incoherent in some places I understand, I am like that sometimes. If you disagree with any of the things I said please let me know, I'm all ears, I will rethink. Thank you for spending your time reading this I really appreciate it. See you all soon (hopefully)

There might be a follow up post I don't know I haven't decided yet
